I have a steel tensioner pulley for the crank-alternator belt and a nylon tensioner pulley for the alternator-SC belt. The nylon pulley has an uneven wear groove with more wear towards the inside edge. The steel pulley has almost none at all. I thought the nylon pulleys were the latest update. What kind of wear have you guys seen with your setups?

I changed the alternator-SC belt about 10,000 miles ago, but the crank-alternotor belt has about 62,000 miles on it, the last 20,000 or so at 10psi (it looks fine but I'm going to change it soon anyway)...

very wierd....My steel pullies wore down like crazy and had grooves of doom in them. The nylon ones have no grooves and are still workin very smoothly for about 10k miles, never had to replace a belt yet.
